－ Switchfoot 简介 － 来自加州圣迭戈的乐队Switchfoot 是由主唱兼吉他手Jonathan Foreman 和他的弟弟贝思手 Tim Forman以及后来加入的鼓手 Chad Butler组建而成的。1997年发行了他们的首张大碟 The Legend of Chin。2年后的专辑 New Way to Be Human取得了巨大的成功，专辑主打歌 New Way to Be Human 获得了1999年Dove大奖的年度最佳歌曲奖。2000年的专辑Learning to Breathe 因与键盘手 Jermoe Fontamillas 的合作而增色不少，同时人们也发现乐队也逐步向主流摇滚乐队接近。这转变是成功的，他们在2002年Mandy Moore的歌曲 A Walk to Remember的精彩表现，使他们引起了主流唱片公司的兴趣。2003年春，Columbia/RED唱片公司发行他们的新专辑 “Beautiful Letdown”,这张唱片表示着 Swichfoot 成为更为公众所认同的另类摇滚乐队。乐队主唱Jonathan Foreman说：“这张专辑翻开了我们音乐事业新的篇章，也为我们今后的道路指引了方向。”
